"This pre-lease, which represents SEGRO's largest built-to-suit development in Germany, illustrates the importance of Leipzig as a logistics region," says Christopher Gigl, Development Manager at SEGRO.

At the beginning of July, SEGRO announced the full occupancy of the recently completed second phase of the SEGRO Logistics Park Leipzig Airport with 58,000 square meters of rental space. With the pre-letting, the park has a total rental area of 190,500 square meters. In addition to the expansion that has now been announced, the SEGRO Logistics Park Leipzig Airport is also working on expansion areas for a further 19,000 square meters.

The SEGRO Logistics Park Leipzig Airport is located in Eichenallee in Kabelsketal and is characterized by its direct proximity to Leipzig/Halle Airport. Located directly on the B 6, there is also an excellent connection via the A 9 and A 14 motorways in the direction of Dresden, Halle and Kassel.

The Logistics & Industrial Team Central Germany of the real estate consultant BNPPRE advised on the brokerage of the areas.
