The new project, covering a total area of over 17,000 m2, joins two buildings previously constructed by SEGRO within the Campania hub, one of the largest and most strategic logistics parks in Southern Italy.

The new modern and technologically advanced buildings will enable Poste Italiane - SDA to further strengthen its distribution network in Italy, leveraging the Interporto's privileged location at the centre of the country's main commercial hubs. Thanks to the two warehouses' 242 loading bays, they will ensure efficient management of logistics flows.

The project has been carried out in compliance with strict environmental sustainability and energy efficiency standards, with the aim of ensuring the effective performance of activities while promoting the well-being of people and the environment.

The properties are equipped with 17 double-connection charging stations and 12 wall-mounted charging points for vans.

Particular attention has been paid to environmental quality and the functionality of indoor and outdoor spaces: shelters along the entire perimeter, well-maintained façades and large green areas confirm SEGRO's commitment to creating properties that combine efficiency, human well-being and the enhancement of biodiversity.

The two properties will be the first in SEGRO's portfolio to obtain BiodiverCity® certification, which assesses and promotes the value of biodiversity in real estate projects.

The buildings are also BREEAM Excellent New Construction certified.

Luca Sorbara, Head of Italy at SEGRO, commented:

"The delivery of the new properties brings the total area developed by SEGRO within Interporto Sud Europa, one of the most strategic logistics hubs in southern Italy, to 67,000 m².
These two new projects have also enabled us to strengthen our collaboration with a long-standing partner such as Poste Italiane - SDA, for whom we have already built over 120,000 m² of logistics properties, continuing to support their growth and creating modern, sustainable and efficient spaces that meet the needs of the sector."
