Of this, around 5,400 square meters are regular halls and around 1,100 square meters are office and social areas, and almost 800 square meters are a cold hall. “Despite the difficult framework conditions of the corona crisis, we managed to start construction. With the new building, we will expand the production capacities in such a way that we can manufacture the units required by the market," says Sabine Hucke, project manager for the expansion at DRÄXLMAIER.

The SEGRO Park Sachsenheim is located at Breuninger Straße 10 and is conveniently located not far from the A 81 federal motorway and has very good connections to the motorway network.

For the expansion, SEGRO has acquired a good 10,000 square meter plot of land, which borders on SEGRO Park Sachsenheim. The seller is the Eichwald special purpose association. It was agreed not to disclose the purchase price. LIST Bau Bielefeld was commissioned as the general contractor for the construction work. After completion, the area will offer almost 32,000 square meters of rental space.
