Demand for space continues at SEGRO’s Great Cambridge Industrial Estate in Enfield, London
Demand for space in Enfield continues to build as SEGRO secures a trio of new lettings totalling 20,000 sq ft at the Great Cambridge Industrial Estate. This trio of lettings takes the occupancy rate at the estate to over 90%, with just three units remaining available to lease.
A leading sports entertainment company has agreed a 10-year lease for 17,258 sq ft across two units and the provider of lighting equipment to the film and TV industries, SHL, will occupy a 3,608 sq ft building on a 10-year lease which will be used to store lighting and rigging equipment.
The Universal Tyre Company (Deptford) Ltd, one of the leading tyre providers in London and the South East, has also agreed a 10-year lease on 2,895 sq ft. The company will use the space for the storage and distribution of its tyres.
Additionally, after spending a decade on the Great Cambridge Industrial Estate, A W Electrical Supplies Ltd, a family run independent electrical wholesaler, has signed up for another 10 years at its 2,456 sq ft unit [on improved terms].
Alan Holland, SEGRO’S Business Unit Director Greater London, said:
“This increase in activity levels demonstrates that the demand for high quality warehouse space in Enfield continues apace, as this borough of London continues to prove an attractive location for businesses operating in London and the South East. Furthermore, A W Electrical Supplies’ decision to remain in its unit is testament to this point and the quality of space on the estate. We are delighted to welcome three new businesses to the Great Cambridge Industrial Estate and to the SEGRO portfolio, which is home to a growing and diverse range of customers.”
