The land acquired by SEGRO is currently leased to a Group that operates as a logistics services center for automobiles in the facilities until 2022. This operation is part of SEGRO's strategy in Spain, which includes the development of modern logistics facilities and urban buildings. for distribution with the highest levels of quality and sustainability.

With this new acquisition, SEGRO reinforces its presence in the Spanish market, where it has positioned itself as one of the main investors and promoters of the logistics sector.

Since SEGRO began its activity in Spain in 2015 with the acquisition of a logistics center in Martorelles (Barcelona) and which is currently leased to one of the largest e-commerce companies, the firm has acquired a logistics park of 16,000 m² in Coslada (Madrid), another 50,000 m² in Castellar del Vallés (Barcelona), a second plot in Martorelles where the construction of a 20,000m² logistics building will begin this year, and the new land recently acquired in San Fernando de Henares. SEGRO has a portfolio of five assets totaling 120,000 m² built or under development in strategic locations around Barcelona and Madrid.
