Health and wellbeing
The wellbeing of those working on our sites or remotely has always been important to us, and we have consistently taken robust measures to ensure a healthy, safe and secure environment for all. This duty of care, which includes psychological wellbeing as well as physical safety, became even more crucial during the pandemic.
The pandemic has strengthened our resolve to be a workplace that adapts and responds well to change, bringing in solutions that deliver meaningful support and a sense of connectedness, whether you are on-site, on the move, working from home, or hybrid of these.
Looking out for each other
We have a comprehensive Health and Safety training programme which begins on day one and is continuously refreshed at regular intervals as you develop your career with SEGRO.
Raising the profile of mental health and wellbeing within the workplace is a strong focus in the organisation. We want to champion a culture where we all recognise when a teammate needs support, and create an environment where talking openly about your own mental health is normal.
Wellbeing ambassadors
We have trained Wellbeing ambassadors across the Group, and in 2021 we worked with them to create a new Wellbeing strategy. An outcome of which is the SEGRO Wellbeing Fund, which allows you to tailor your wellbeing benefits to your own requirements.
In addition to this, a comprehensive Wellbeing Hub offers all staff access to specialised support and up to date materials and tools. Our enhanced benefits package includes a 24/7 confidential external helpline providing round-the-clock support and advice.
