Autodistribution sets up operations in Le Blanc-Mesnil near Paris at SEGRO Park Carré des Aviateurs
SEGRO has signed a lease with Autodistribution, France's leading independent distributor of automotive spare parts, for 3,061 sq m at SEGRO Park Carré des Aviateurs in Le Blanc-Mesnil (Seine-Saint-Denis)
This site will house Autodistribution's Île-de-France regional headquarters as well as a spare parts storage and preparation facility. Ultimately, 72 employees will work there, including 34 mobile staff (drivers and sales team).
Historically based in Aubervilliers, the company undertook this relocation as part of the redevelopment of its current site and in order to have more modern premises capable of supporting its growth and optimising its logistics performance.
The choice of SEGRO Park Carré des Aviateurs meets a key operational challenge, such as maintaining close proximity to repairers and professionals who come to stock up on supplies, while benefiting from quick access to the main transport routes in northern Greater Paris.
Laurence Giard, Managing Director France at SEGRO, said:
“The arrival of Autodistribution at SEGRO Park Carré des Aviateurs demonstrates our ability to offer functional sites that are ideally connected and adapted to logistical constraints. We worked alongside Autodistribution to adapt the building to their needs, in particular by obtaining planning permission to create additional mezzanine space. This operation is a continuation of our collaboration, already underway at other sites in our portfolio near Lyon with its CORA entity. Le Carré des Aviateurs has also recently undergone high-quality renovation and has charging stations to support the transition to electric vehicles.”
This facility aims to secure and streamline supplies to repairers in the Paris region. By bringing stocks closer to the areas where they are needed, Autodistribution intends to guarantee short lead times, which are crucial for limiting vehicle downtime and maintaining a high level of service.
To meet Autodistribution's needs, a number of improvements will be made, including the creation of a brick mezzanine to increase office space capacity and the installation of an industrial mezzanine to optimise storage on two levels. The site has 50 parking spaces, and Autodistribution will install electric charging stations for its fleet of vehicles.
Located in Le Blanc-Mesnil, 12 km north-east of Paris, SEGRO Park Carré des Aviateurs offers a strategic location close to Le Bourget and Roissy-Charles de Gaulle airports, with direct access to the A1 and A86 motorways. The park consists of eight independent buildings totalling 35,000 sq m of commercial space, set within 6.8 hectares of landscaped grounds.
As part of its environmental strategy, SEGRO undertook a sustainable refurbishment of the site in 2021, reducing the buildings' energy losses by 15%. The project also included the creation of 13,000 sq m of green space, the planting of 58 additional trees, a 20% reduction in impermeable surfaces and the reconfiguration of traffic flows to promote sustainable mobility such as cycling and pedestrian access.
Early handover of the premises is scheduled for 16 February 2026, with official occupancy set for 16 May 2026.
