The two organizations agreed to a new lease which will more than double the space that GEODIS, a worldwide provider of customised transportation, warehousing, global logistics and supply chain solutions, takes within SEGRO estates in the country.

The new lease is for nearly 5,500 sq m at SEGRO Logistics Park Wrocław, Biskupice, which is a new location for GEODIS in Poland. This is the company's second location at SEGRO’s Polish parks. It is in addition to the 4,000 sq m at SEGRO's flagship park in Central Poland: SEGRO Logistics Park Stryków, where it also extended its lease earlier this year.

GEODIS is a leading global logistics provider and a growth partner to its clients. In Poland, GEODIS supports sectors such as automotive, FMCG, industry, retail, and healthcare with end-to-end supply chain solutions - including warehousing and multimodal freight forwarding by road, rail, sea, and air. Strategically located warehouses and ongoing investment in infrastructure enable GEODIS to deliver flexible, reliable, and efficient logistics services tailored to customer needs.

GEODIS has been a SEGRO customer in Poland since 2013.

Bartosz Michalski, Director, Logistics, Poland, SEGRO, comments:

“Long-term cooperation with customers is not only a source of satisfaction for us, but above all a testament to mutual trust and satisfaction with the quality of SEGRO’s estates and services. We consider the leasing of further warehouse space in our facilities to be the best confirmation that SEGRO’s offer and support during the term of the contract have a real impact on our customers’ businesses. The development of GEODIS in Poland within SEGRO's portfolio is a huge motivation for us to continue building a long-term relationship based on partnership."

Bogdan Młynarczyk, Managing Director at GEODIS in Poland, said:

“For twelve years, we have been developing our business at SEGRO’s park in Stryków, where we have experienced a professional and flexible approach to our logistics needs. The decision to expand our cooperation and lease new warehouse space at SEGRO Logistics Park Wrocław, Biskupice, is a natural step towards GEODIS’ further development in Poland. We believe that thanks to our proven cooperation with SEGRO, we will be able to effectively achieve our business goals in this location as well."

SEGRO Logistics Park Wrocław, Biskupice is located just 15 km from the centre of Wrocław. A huge advantage of the park's location is its proximity to the intersection of the A4 and A8 motorways and direct access from the A4 motorway. In addition, the park offers convenient external infrastructure: wide roads, manoeuvring areas and parking spaces. Customers have access to 24-hour security and support from a dedicated SEGRO property manager. The park currently offers the possibility of building a 13,500 sq m facility to order. A complete set of building permits allows for the rapid implementation of a new project.
