Seifert Polska won the tender for the operation of a logistics center in Poland for one of the world's largest manufacturers of premium class utility vehicles: Daimler Truck. SEGRO Logistics Park Stryków is another location where these companies will strengthen their cooperation. Seifert Polska belongs to the Seifert Logistics Group, a German logistics operator with an international reach, with 45 locations in Europe. Seifert Logistics centers are present where the automotive industry is developing. Also in Poland: in Upper Silesia in Bielsko-Biała and Mysłowice, and in Lower Silesia in Jawor, where since 2019 Seifert has been providing internal and external logistics services for the engine and battery factory for its client. Other Seifert Polska centers are located in Poznań, Warsaw, Wrocław and Ostrołęka.

- We have been cooperating with the Mercedes-Benz Group in Poland for several years now - comments Aleksandra Wacławczyk, Head of Tender Management Seifert Polska in the area of logistics. – For Daimler Truck AG, we were looking for a logistics space that would ensure a very efficient flow of spare parts for 40 Mercedes-Benz Trucks service points in Poland, including their transport in the field of comprehensive service of individualized orders. The agreement we have concluded with SEGRO is the culmination of our search. We are happy with the potential of this location and the "green" solutions offered by this park.

- I congratulate the representatives of Seifert Polska on winning the tender and the development of cooperation with Daimler Truck in Poland - says Waldemar Witczak, Regional Director of SEGRO . – Thank you also for your trust. I believe that the space in Stryków, adapted to the needs of demanding and automated business, will meet the expectations of both companies. I am sure that our cooperation will support the presence of Seifert and Daimler Truck in Central Poland, which will translate into their further growth.

– The client precisely presented the requirements as to the standard of the space and the expected lease conditions. SEGRO's offer best suited his needs - explains Jakub Wojtera, Consultant in the Logistics and Industrial Agency, AXI IMMO. – First, the space was available on time; secondly, the location will significantly facilitate the supply chain management process for the end customer.

SEGRO Logistics Park Stryków is the largest SEGRO park in Central Europe, with as much as 85 ha of investment area. The modern logistics park is located in the center of Poland in the vicinity of Łódź (19 km from the city center) and is distinguished by its excellent location. It is situated directly on the A2 motorway (Berlin-Poznań-Warsaw) and 6 km from the junction of A1 and A2 (junction: Łódź-Północ). It is a park equipped with chargers for electric and hybrid vehicles, it also has a green relaxation zone.
