Twenty years after the acquisition of the site by SEGRO France, the SEGRO Carré des Aviateurs Le Blanc-Mesnil is getting a new look. This renewal is part of the redevelopment of the Molette activity zone, the oldest in the commune, thus contributing to the evolution of the city and its territory.

Since 2021, the business park has been the subject of a multi-phase renovation program focused on eco-responsible principles of energy sobriety in accordance with the tertiary decree, comfort of use and safety.

The first and second phases of work focused on:

  • Improvement of the park entrance area and renovation of the caretaker’s lodge;
  • The reconfiguration of the central aisle favoring soft mobility;
  • Installation of new street furniture;
  • The creation of 13,000 m2 of green spaces and the planting of 58 additional trees;
  • The renovation of traffic lanes making it possible to reduce the waterproofed surfaces by 20%;
  • The rehabilitation of the facades overlooking the central aisle with the replacement of existing cladding with new skins, the use of high-performance insulation and the replacement of windows following the completion of a thermal audit, thus making it possible to reduce by 15 % energy losses;
  • Installation of new signage (totem, signs, flags, etc.);
  • The creation of two temporary car parks which makes it possible to expand the offer and meet customer demands.

The third phase of the upcoming work will focus on the secondary alley which will undergo a renovation program similar to that of the central alley.

This renovation campaign makes it possible to improve the working environment of the park's 11 tenant clients and their employees, who include specialists in home equipment, interior decoration and leisure but also players from other sectors economic and industrial. Today, more than 200 jobs are generated by these activities.
