SEGRO leases 9,550 square meters of commercial space to Flaschenpost in Cologne
SEGRO has pre-let 9,550 square meters of commercial space, which is currently still under construction, in the sustainable business park "SEGRO Park Köln City" to Flaschenpost on a long-term basis
The company, a subsidiary of Dr. Oetker, based in Münster, will use the space as a warehouse for the delivery of food and beverages to private households. The start of the lease is no later than the third quarter of 2023 after the completion of the construction work. With this lease, three quarters of the last expansion phase of the "SEGRO Park Köln City" have already been pre-let. After completion, the entire area will comprise 55,000 square meters of commercial space.
The business park is characterized by its sustainability. It has buildings with green roofs, intelligent systems for determining energy savings, and beehives, insect hotels and nesting boxes to promote biodiversity. In addition, a photovoltaic system is currently being planned, and charging stations for electric vehicles are to be put into operation in the near future.

The “SEGRO Park Köln City” is located on Vitalisstraße in the Bickendorf district of Cologne in the Ehrenfeld district on the former AkzoNobel factory site. The site offers connections to the S-Bahn and regional train network. In addition, the district is served by two subway lines, so that the location can be easily reached by public transport. In addition, the district with the A 1 and A 57 is optimally connected to the motorway network.
The users of the business park include Deutsche Post, TIER Mobility, Delicato Foodservice, Alvero Büromöbelvermietung, the online retailer Kapten & Son, deintorte.de, the company Shirtee, which specializes in digital printing, the 0221 Mediagroup and the TV production company Entertainment TV Ehrenfeld.
