The business park will thus be able to welcome companies from a wide variety of sectors. The Dutch food wholesaler Meledi rents 2,050 square meters of warehouse space. 230 square meters of office space are rented from the general contractor stahl + verbundbau GmbH, which is also the general contractor for many SEGRO projects. In addition, Nanoprotect GmbH rents 860 square meters. The company specializes in chemical nanocoatings of various surfaces. The existing tenant McCann, a creative agency, is expanding by 1,200 square meters to 4,900 square meters.

"Four new tenants in just four weeks - this shows how strong the demand is for the modern commercial space in our park despite the pandemic. We are particularly pleased that we can enable our existing tenant McCann to grow locally," says Oliver Kuropka, Senior Leasing Manager at SEGRO.

The SEGRO CityPark Düsseldorf is located on the approximately ten hectare former site of the world-famous steel construction company "Hein, Lehmann & Co". In 2019, SEGRO successfully completed the revitalization of the area as a business park with urban storage, production and leisure areas. In total, the inner-city commercial park between Düsseldorf's main train station and the Hoherweg auto mile has more than 50,000 square meters of rental space. After the most recent rental, three units with 3,000 square meters are still available in the flexible areas.

In addition to SEGRO, which has its Northern European headquarters there, users of the park include DHL, the electrical wholesaler Sonepar, the innovation center for 3D printing from EOS, the Japanese automotive supplier THK, the Bouldering Hall Superblock and other tenants.

The real estate agent Realogis mediated the letting to Nanoprotect and the real estate agent Anteon for the letting to Jesumar.
