Privacy and cookies

The new development project, amounting to 15,500 m2, was completed in just three and a half months at SEGRO Logistics Park Stryków. The transaction was brokered by the AXI IMMO agency.

Komfort is one of the first customers of SEGRO in Stryków, which has so far leased 11 700 m2 of space in the existing warehouse. Due to the dynamic development of the business and the expansion of the offer with an assortment of kitchen and bathroom equipment, the company needed over 30 percent. more warehouse space. The quick implementation of the new 15,500 m2 project was possible thanks to the use of a fully prefabricated structure, from the hall foundations, through roof columns and girders, to a fully prefabricated external office, made of prefabricated reinforced concrete walls and ceilings.

The new Comfort facility will undergo BREEAM certification with a forecasted Very Good rating, incl. thanks to the use of modern selective glazing in the office building, protecting the office from overheating in summer and heat losses in winter. LED lighting has been installed throughout the facility, and intelligent LED luminaires controlled by the DALI system in the hall. At the entrance to the building, an access control system was introduced, consisting in automatic reading of license plates. In SEGRO Logistics Park Stryków, where the facility is located, electric car chargers are also installed, which are one of the pro-ecological solutions used by the developer.

- The dynamic development of our company and the expansion of the product range meant that we decided to entrust SEGRO with the construction of a new warehouse facility in Stryków. Due to the long-term cooperation, we had full confidence in the developer and owner of the park. The new warehouse meets all our expectations in terms of both the size and equipment - emphasizes Robert Stachniak, Director of Development and Property Management at Komfort.

In connection with the construction of a new warehouse in the SEGRO logistics park in Stryków, Komfort plans to increase the employment of warehouse employees both to support the existing assortment, as well as to newly introduced product categories - bathrooms, kitchens and wardrobes.

Komfort, existing on the market for over 25 years, has achieved a leading position in its industry with over 160 stores across the country. The company's product offer includes a carefully selected collection of floor panels, wooden floors, carpet and elastic coverings, decorations and doors. Recently, in specially designed stores, the company has expanded its assortment with bathrooms, kitchens and wardrobes. The first stores with a comprehensive offer of interior fittings and furnishings are already operating in Warsaw's Okęcie and in Poznań, and the company plans to further develop this concept.

The SEGRO logistics park in Stryków, established in 2006, is one of the developer's flagship parks in this part of Europe. Located close to the junction of the A1 and A2 motorways, it provides customers with efficient deliveries in all directions. Ultimately, the park may be expanded to almost 400,000 sq m of warehouse, cross-docking and production space.
