Leading provider of Japanese food and retail, The Japan Centre, has taken a 20 year lease for a 56,711 sq ft unit at SEGRO’s Premier Park, Park Royal.

The unit, which will be in use by summer 2018, will be Japan Centre’s UK Headquarters and will be used for a range of activity, including offices, warehousing, distribution and hot kitchens for food preparation.

Already an existing customer of SEGRO, the Japan Centre will be relocating from its current base at SEGRO’s Victoria Industrial Estate, where it occupies in total 35,000 sq ft across seven units, to Unit B Premier Park.

The Japan Centre supplies the rapidly expanding chain of Shoryu Ramen restaurants across London and the South East - including their new location in the Westgate Centre in Oxford and the Westfield extension in London.

Tak Tokumine, CEO, Japan Centre and Shoryu Ramen, said:

“We could not have grown our business in this way without the support and assistance of SEGRO. Since 2010 we have leased various unit from SEGRO and now we have relocated to new bespoke warehousing, kitchen and online facilities at Premier Park, Park Royal.

“We are looking forward to continuing our good working relationship with SEGRO for many years to come.”
