This year, the SEGRO Customer Experience Team has hosted a variety of events across the Trading Estate, making the most of outdoor space to bring local businesses together, strengthen customer relationships and enhance community wellbeing.

The highlights from 2025 include:

  • Coffee & cupcakes: Held on eight occasions, the team set up stands offering drinks and cupcakes to anyone working on the estate, providing a friendly and convenient way to connect.
  • Street food stalls: Eight vibrant food stall events at Leigh Road Park, just a short walk from the heart of the Trading Estate. The events showcased a variety of cuisines –  from Caribbean and traditional Cornish pasties to fish and chips, Spanish and Greek dishes –  celebrating the rich cultural diversity of the Slough Trading Estate community.
  • Webinars: Nine webinars, hearing from businesses/experts, on important topics including health and safety awareness, environmental sustainability and health and wellbeing.
  • Bike clinics: Twice this year, complimentary bike servicing sessions were offered to help people travel to work more easily. Following customer feedback, a trial booking system was introduced which was well-received and will continue in the future.
  • Business Watch Security event: Customers were welcomed by the Business Watch team, who shared insights on Trading Estate and tips for keeping buildings safe.
  • Litter picking event: Customers and staff joined the team for a community litter-picking day supporting wider CSR and ESG initiatives aimed at preserving the local environment and raising awareness.

Robyn Jenkins, Assistant Manager, Customer Experience, SEGRO, said: “Our goal for this year has been to create a real sense of community on Slough Trading Estate. It’s been fantastic to see so many of our customers and colleagues come together at these events. Whether it is over a coffee and cupcake, enjoying street food in the park, or taking part in our litter picking clean up, these moments really help us connect and build stronger relationships.”
