Mondial Relay by InPost, a leading out-of-home delivery provider serving both e-commerce businesses and individuals, will set up its Paris hub at the former 20th-century freight station converted by SEGRO into a state-of-the-art logistics hub. The operation will be dedicated to the 100% carbon-neutral supply of its network of automated lockers and Points Relais®, in which it is the market leader in France with 11,000 units installed.

This new facility confirms the site’s appeal to players in retail and e-commerce, parcel delivery and urban distribution who are seeking inner-city solutions capable of bringing supplies closer to consumers while reducing the environmental impact of the last mile.

To roll out its model across Paris, Mondial Relay by InPost will benefit from a rare site in the heart of the capital, which is accessible to semi-trailers, suited to low-carbon multimodal distribution and immediately operational. From SEGRO Logistics Centre Les Gobelins, parcels will be distributed across Paris exclusively via 12- to 20-cubic-meter electric light commercial vehicles and cargo bikes.

The leased space features nine ground-level access doors, with inbound deliveries consisting of 3 to 5 semi-trailers per day.

Fit-out works will begin in early August 2026, with operations expected to start in October 2026.

Christophe Cornilleau, Chief Operating Officer of Mondial Relay, said:

“This location in Paris’s 13th arrondissement marks a key milestone in our strategy to expand within the city center. SEGRO Centre Paris Les Gobelins offers an exceptional location and infrastructure perfectly suited to our operational needs. This hub will enable us to supply our network of local pickup points in a 100% carbon-neutral manner, while enhancing the quality of service we provide to e-commerce retailers and our Parisian customers.”

Laurence Giard, Managing Director France at SEGRO, stated:

“The arrival of Mondial Relay at SEGRO Centre Paris Les Gobelins demonstrates positive leasing momentum and reaffirms its mission to offer retail players a hub in the heart of Paris capable of combining operational efficiency with carbon-neutral delivery. This is exactly the role that a new-generation urban logistics hub should play.”

The deal follows the leasing of 1,300 sq m of space at SEGRO Centre Les Gobelins to clothing retailer Monoprix earlier in July 2026 which will use the facility as a remote warehouse to supply some of its stores in the capital.

Located in the Olympiades district, next to Paris’s major thoroughfares, SEGRO Centre Paris Les Gobelins spans 75,000 sq m, including 50,000 sq m of flexible rental space. Accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, it meets the needs of businesses with complementary profiles – retail, e-commerce, urban distribution, package delivery, bicycle logistics, healthcare, agri-food, luxury goods and business services – and has established itself as a key hub for urban logistics in Paris.

This transaction was completed with the assistance of BNP Paribas Real Estate, a real estate advisory firm specializing in industrial, logistics and commercial properties.
