SEGRO and Rittal enter the next stage of cooperation in Stryków
SEGRO has signed another agreement with Rittal, a global supplier of control cabinet systems, automation, and infrastructure. The companies are expanding their existing cooperation within SEGRO Logistics Park Stryków
SEGRO and Rittal have been working together since 2016. Due to its consistent growth on the Polish market, the supplier of server and network cabinets, among other things, is expanding its space at SEGRO Logistics Park Stryków by an additional 3,150 sq m. The park in Stryków is an important location for Rittal in this part of Central and Eastern Europe due to its access to key markets and major transport routes.
Rittal is part of a group operating in many global markets, supplying products to 90% of industries. It offers solutions across the entire customer service chain – from concept and production, through configuration and logistics, to intelligent service and maintenance solutions.
Bartosz Michalski, Director, Logistics, Poland at SEGRO, comments:
"The successive expansion of Rittal's space within SEGRO's warehouses confirms that our strategy, based on building lasting relationships with customers and offering high-quality warehouse solutions, is delivering tangible results. Our customer currently leases a total of 7,828 sq m of warehouse space from SEGRO. We are delighted to be able to support Rittal's growth by providing space that meets the company's needs and ensuring the support of an experienced team of property managers. As data centres and other areas of the digital economy expand, this deal is a great example of how their supply chains are growing around them to service their needs locally."
Piotr Górniak, Managing Director at Rittal, said:
"The additional space at SEGRO Logistics Park Stryków will allow us to further optimize our supply chain and manage the growing number of orders more efficiently – solutions and products for Industry 4.0 and IT. We appreciate not only the strategic location and modern solutions in the facility. Together with SEGRO, we are looking in the same direction, contributing to the development of advanced infrastructure."
SEGRO Logistics Park Stryków offers over 360,000 sq m of modern warehouse space. It is located in central Poland, just 20 km from the center of Łódź. Its proximity to the intersection of the A1 and A2 motorways makes it an excellent distribution hub for the whole of Central and Eastern Europe. The park is equipped with electric and hybrid vehicle chargers and an automatic license plate recognition system, which optimizes entry and exit times.
