Pre-let with Milkrite InterPuls marks the start of the expansion of the SEGRO Centre Wrocław, Awicenny
Milkrite InterPuls has signed a pre-let agreement to expand its current premises at SEGRO Centre Wrocław, Awicenny, by over 3,700 square metres
To add to this, SEGRO, the owner, developer and manager of modern warehouse and manufacturing space, has begun expanding the existing facility at this site, demonstrating the flexibility of its portfolio in supporting clients as their operational needs evolve. In total, nearly 6,000 square metres of new space will be ready at this site this autumn, of which 2,200 square metres will be made available to other tenants.
Milkrite InterPuls is the first tenant at SEGRO Centre Wrocław, Awicenny. It has been operating at the business park since 2022, and is currently occupying nearly 7,400 square metres. The company, which is owned by DeLaval Holding B.V., has over 100 years’ experience in the manufacture, supply and servicing of milking equipment and integrated herd management systems, serving farms all over the world (from South Africa to Thailand).
Steve Wild, Project Manager at Milkrite InterPuls, says:
“Wrocław is one of our three European sites and the only one in Central Europe. Expanding the scale of our operations is a natural step in the company’s growth strategy. The opportunity to expand at a site we know and trust, and to work with the SEGRO team, who understand our needs, were key factors in our decision. The additional space at SEGRO Centre Wrocław, Awicenny, will provide us with the capacity we need to handle the growing number of orders.”
Bartosz Michalski, Director of Logistics for Poland at SEGRO, comments:
“The decision by our first client in the park, Awicenna, to expand its premises after four years at SEGRO Centre Wrocław confirms the attractiveness of this location and the high quality of our partnership. Thanks to the possibility of extending the existing facility, we are able to support the growth of Milkrite’s operations whilst also responding to market needs by offering new space available to other companies.”
SEGRO Centre Wrocław, Awicenny is a modern logistics park situated just 8.5 km from the centre of Wrocław. This makes it an ideal location for last-mile logistics and service companies.
As with the existing part of the building, its extension will comply with the requirements for BREEAM New Construction certification at the Excellent level. Automatic number plate recognition, electric vehicle charging points and LED lighting are just some of the solutions implemented here. Out of concern for the natural environment and the local area, 100 per cent of the energy used in the park comes from renewable sources.
