SEGRO is developing a new logistics park on a brownfield in Neu Wulmstorf near Hamburg

Around 21,700 square meters of logistics space are to be built on an approximately 3.7 hectare brownfield site. The logistics real estate agent REALOGIS Hamburg acted as intermediary for the transaction. SEGRO was legally advised by the law firm Arnecke Sibeth Dabelstein.

"With its location right on the outskirts of Hamburg and its proximity to the connection to the A 26 planned for 2025, the logistics park offers excellent connections to Germany's most important logistics hub, which has a very strong demand for logistics space," says Julian Kux, Associate Director , Development, Logistics.

Detailed information about the new area as well as the start time and expected completion of the construction work are to be published after the building permit has been received. It is already clear that the area, like all SEGRO logistics parks, is characterized by an attractive architecture and sustainable construction - the sustainability certificate DGNB in platinum and DGNB climate-positive is aimed for. The rental units range from 10,000 square meters to 21,000 square meters and are marketed by REALOGIS Hamburg.

SEGRO plans to further expand its own portfolio in northern Germany through further acquisitions and project developments in the coming years.
