Since its foundation in 2014, the company has grown into one of the largest manufacturers in Europe. K Line is now represented in over 24 countries and has set itself the goal of producing 2 million splints in 2022. The company will move into the space in summer 2022 with around 60 employees.

"With K Line, we were able to enable another attractive company to settle in Düsseldorf and in our modern hall areas," says Oliver Kuropka, Associate Director, Development, Light Industrial at SEGRO.

The SEGRO Park Düsseldorf-Süd currently has a total of 55,300 square meters of commercial space, which is now almost fully let. The areas offer high quality and sustainable construction and have the DGNB sustainability certificate in gold. For example, SEGRO used wood from the region for the laminated wood beams in the halls. The LED lighting is controlled by modern motion detectors and the halls offer plenty of natural daylight. Together with seating in the countryside, this contributes to increased well-being in the working environment. To promote biodiversity, the SEGRO Park not only has beehives, but also insect hotels and nesting holes for native birds.

SEGRO Park Düsseldorf-Süd has excellent connections to the A3, A46, A57 and A59 motorways, is close to Düsseldorf Airport and around ten kilometers from downtown Düsseldorf. The area is a successful revitalization of industrial areas on the site of the former paper mill Feldmühle, later Stora Enso, and is located between the Reisholz port, the industrial area of southern Düsseldorf and the Benrath residence, known for its palace and park.
