An online retailer has rented 3,600 square meters of commercial space in SEGRO Park Düsseldorf-Süd and will move into it in July 2021. This will enable the company to advance its German business with its own local presence for the first time.

"With its urban location in Düsseldorf and the large catchment area in North Rhine-Westphalia, our SEGRO Park Düsseldorf-Süd is ideally suited for the first settlement of an online retailer," says Oliver Kuropka, Associate Director Development Light Industrial at SEGRO.

The SEGRO Park Düsseldorf-Süd close to the city offers a total of around 55,000 square meters of rental space, of which around 8,000 square meters are still available for rent. It is a revitalization of industrial space on the site of the former Feldmühle paper mill, later Stora Enso. The area is located at Bonner Strasse 317-363 and lies between the Reisholz port, the industrial area of southern Düsseldorf and the Benrath residence, which is famous for its palace and park. The SEGRO Park Düsseldorf-Süd is optimally connected to the motorway network and the airport and is around ten kilometers from downtown Düsseldorf. There is a tram stop right in front of the site. From there, the subway station Holthausen and the train station Benrath can be reached in about five minutes.

The global real estate service provider CBRE acted in an advisory capacity on the letting.
