In the SEGRO CityPark Düsseldorf, two lettings totaling 4,550 square meters were made to the three companies Shop LC GmbH, Anders & Gehler Postservice Direktmarketing Center GmbH and an e-commerce start-up. This means that only around 400 square meters of the more than 50,000 square meter commercial park, which was completed in 2019, are still available for rent.

“For a mixed-use and speculatively developed commercial park of this size, we have achieved almost full occupancy in record time. We are very pleased that we were able to settle 30 companies from a wide variety of industries, which have created around 600 local jobs," says Oliver Kuropka, Associate Director Development Light Industrial at SEGRO.

The majority of the newly rented space will go to Shop LC GmbH. The teleshopping channel specializes in the TV and online sale of jewelry from its own production, but also sells fashion and cosmetic products as well as decorative items, household goods and kitchen products. Shop LC will use the 3,750 square meters in the SEGRO CityPark Düsseldorf for a TV studio and for its online business in Germany.

Anders & Gehler Postservice Direktmarketing Center GmbH, which specializes in postal services, is an existing tenant in SEGRO CityPark Düsseldorf, which is now doubling to around 800 square meters.

The urban business park is located in Düsseldorf's Fichtenstraße on the approximately ten hectare former site of the world-famous steel construction company "Hein, Lehmann & Co". Located between Düsseldorf Central Station and the Höherweg car mile, it offers urban storage, production and leisure areas. In addition to SEGRO, which has its Northern European headquarters there, users of the park include DHL, the electrical wholesaler Sonepar, the innovation center for 3D printing from EOS, the Japanese automotive supplier THK and the bouldering hall Superblock.

The agent Colliers International Deutschland GmbH acted as an intermediary for the leases of Shop LC GmbH and Anders & Gehler Postservice Direktmarketing Center GmbH.
