SEGRO with the best Property Manager for the third year in a row
Maciej Szyma received the Warehouse Manager of the Year award as part of the Eurobuild Awards 2019. This is another such award for SEGRO Property Manager in the last three years.
The statuette was awarded in the Tenants Award category based on an opinion poll conducted among tenants. The Eurobuild Awards 2019 gala, during which the award was awarded, took place on December 3 in Warsaw.
The Eurobuild Award for Warehouse Manager of the Year is awarded to the person who received the highest rating in a user survey of 22 warehouse facilities by the independent research institute Cantar Millward & Brown. They answer questions related to the quality of services in the field of park management in advance. When selecting the laureate, the highest level of administrative services, which significantly exceeds the minimum standards offered to clients, is taken into account. Aspects such as understanding the real needs of customers and the involvement of the manager are important here.
Maciej Szyma has been the SEGRO Property Manager for over eleven years. He is responsible for the management of logistics parks in Gliwice and Wrocław, with a total of almost 230,000 sq m. m2 of warehouse, office and production space. He is responsible for servicing companies such as the Axel Group (Dutch logistics operator) or ASPA Electro (manufacturer of machines under the Łucznik brand). Maciej Szyma previously managed the real estate of Citi Bank Handlowy in Poland and was in charge of management at Auchan Polska. He has over 19 years of experience in working in the commercial real estate industry. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the Silesian University of Technology. He also completed postgraduate studies in Real Estate Management at the WSB University in Poznań. He is licensed by the Property Manager.
