SEGRO leases 23,300 square meters in the SEGRO Logistics Park Leipzig Airport
SEGRO pre-leased 23,300 square meters of rental space in its SEGRO Logistics Park Leipzig Airport to a company from the automotive industry before the start of construction.
The company is thus doubling its existing space on the site, which is already around 23,300 square meters. Construction is scheduled to begin in August and completion is scheduled for the second quarter of 2020. At the same time, the last building section of the property is being built with 12,000 square meters, which is therefore available for rent by interested companies.
"This letting underscores once again how important it is for a logistics park to also enable its tenants to grow locally," says Christopher Gigl, Development Manager at SEGRO.
In total, the SEGRO Logistics Park Leipzig Airport now has over 100,000 square meters of rental space. After its complete completion - SEGRO is constructing the buildings in several phases - the area will have a total of more than 200,000 square meters of rental space.
The SEGRO Logistics Park Leipzig Airport is located in Eichenallee in Kabelsketal and is characterized by its direct proximity to Leipzig/Halle Airport. Located directly on the B 6, there is also an excellent connection via the A 9 and A 14 motorways in the direction of Dresden, Halle and Kassel.
