Delicato Foodservice GmbH, a Cologne-based food wholesaler, accounts for 1,600 square meters of this. Delicato will be represented at the newly rented location with around 15 employees. In addition, the company opens a lunch service for the SEGRO CityPark Cologne.

Alvero Büromöbelvermietung GmbH is also renting 1,600 square meters. The company is an expert in office furniture rental with a diverse range throughout Europe. Up to 15 employees will be employed at the new location in Cologne.

AC Commerce GmbH rents almost 830 square meters. The fulfillment provider imports and exports various consumer goods, in particular food, household goods, electrical appliances and beauty and wellness items.

“The demand in the recently completed SEGRO CityPark Cologne is not abating. The new lettings have already attracted five long-term tenants. The diversity of the tenant profiles underlines that the inner-city location of the location is not only attractive for city logistics companies, but also for wholesalers and other commercial settlements. In contrast to classic logistics, it was also possible to create quite a large number of jobs,” says Simon Czerwinksi, Leasing Manager at SEGRO.

Extensive revitalization work is currently being carried out on the former factory site, which SEGRO acquired from AkzoNobel. After completion, flexible space for around 40 companies will be available on a total of 55,500 square meters of rental space in five buildings. Spaces ranging in size from 800 to 7,700 square meters can already be rented. Depending on the building, the areas have a ceiling height of eight or ten meters. The project illustrates the successful integration of state-of-the-art commercial architecture in an urban environment.

The SEGRO CityPark Cologne is located on Vitalisstraße in Cologne-Bickendorf. The Technologiepark train station offers connections to the S-Bahn and regional train network. In addition, the district is served by four subway lines, so that the location can be easily reached by public transport. In addition, the district with the A 1 and A 57 is optimally connected to the motorway network. The railway siding on the property also offers the potential to shift freight traffic from road to rail.

Greif & Contzen acted in an advisory capacity for the letting to AC Commerce. The areas for Alvero office furniture rental and Delicato Foodservice were rented directly by SEGRO without a consultant.
