SEGRO has secured two new leases at its SEGRO CityPark Düsseldorf. The existing tenant McCann Erickson GmbH, an international creative agency, is expanding its space by 3,000 square meters of hall space in the last expansion phase and by almost 700 square meters in an office cube.

In addition, Steinle Industriepumpen GmbH, a manufacturer of mechanical, electrical and pneumatic pumps, has rented a good 900 square meters in the fourth expansion phase. This lease alone will create more than 20 new jobs.

With the completion of the areas still under construction, SEGRO will successfully complete the revitalization of the approximately ten hectare former site of the world-famous steel construction company "Hein, Lehmann & Co" as a business park with urban storage, production and leisure areas. In total, the inner-city commercial park between Düsseldorf's main train station and the Hoherweg auto mile has more than 50,000 square meters of rental space. After the most recent rentals, around 13,000 square meters are still available in the two new buildings - from 800 to 7,000 square meters of rental space.

“A good commercial park is characterized by how flexibly it can react to the needs of its tenants. For this reason, we are particularly pleased that we can support the growth of our existing tenant McCann Erickson with additional space directly on site," says Simon Czerwinski, Leasing Manager at SEGRO.

In addition to SEGRO, which has its Northern European headquarters there, users of the park include DHL, the manufacturer of machine elements THK, the electrical wholesaler Sonepar, the innovation center for 3D printing from EOS, the Airhop trampoline park, the Superblock bouldering hall and other tenants.
