New Shuttle Bus Service Set To Launch In May
A new shuttle bus service, launching in May, forms part of SEGRO’s ongoing commitments under the Slough Planning Zone (SPZ). Designed to make commuting easier and more convenient, the service will provide a reliable connection between the Trading Estate and Burnham Station, helping occupiers and their teams better access the Elizabeth line and wider rail network.
Jo Jackson, Director, SEGRO, said: “Improving connectivity is central to our vision for Slough Trading Estate. This new shuttle service is a practical investment that will make it easier for people to travel swiftly, sustainably, and strengthen links between the Estate and the wider region.”
The route will operate from Burnham Station, travelling along Buckingham Avenue and looping at Bestobell Road. The service will also provide convenient access to the Buckingham Centre, giving customers easy access to amenities and local services along the route.
Two 16-seater buses will run between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday, and the service will be free of charge for passengers. To accommodate peak commuting times, buses will run every 15 minutes between 8.00–9.30am and 4.00–6.00pm, aligning as closely as possible with Elizabeth line arrivals at Burnham Station. Between 9.30am and 4.00pm, the service will operate at 30-minute intervals, ensuring consistent daytime access to on-site facilities.
Full route maps and timetable details will be shared ahead of launch. SEGRO looks forward to welcoming passengers on board and continuing to enhance transport links on Slough Trading Estate.
