It sounds like the set-up for a well-known joke. However, this time it wasn’t a bar the horse was walking into, but the KFC drive thru restaurant on Farnham Road.
The ever-popular fried-chicken takeaway welcomed an unusual group of customers recently when half a dozen local horse-riders trotted up to the window to place their order. The scene was caught on camera and stirrup’d much amusement among passersby.
Colonel Sanders has always enjoyed a colt following in the mane, with its secret original recipe famous for being finger lickin – or should that now be hoof lickin’ – good.
