Rome South Logistics Park

Overview

Rome south logistics park is located in the municipality of Colleferro, 2 km from the Rome-Naples motorway.

Inside the pole are the buildings of Amazon and Leroy Merlin for a total of more than 200,000 square meters of built area.

For the entertainment of employees and those who live the site daily, a five-a-side football pitch and a paddle court have been created, in addition to the presence of a cycle path for sustainable mobility.

The cycle path is lined with colorful and fragrant lavender and broom plants, which during the spring enrich the polo with bright colors ranging from the lilac of the lavender to the yellow of the broom.

The center is characterized by 200,000 square meters of green area and centenary olive trees rise in the center of all our roundabouts.

Given the presence of large green spaces, houses for bats and a wall for the nesting of bee-eaters were installed.

The wall was installed to safeguard the species and integrate it with the surrounding natural environment.

Within the pole 40 fruit trees have been planted: apples, sour cherries and cherries for the production of organic jam.

Other peculiarities of the site are a walnut grove, a hazelnut grove and strawberry trees from which excellent honey can be produced.

For the sustainability of zero km products, vegetable gardens have been created with vegetable plants: artichokes, broccoli, cabbage, lettuce, tomatoes

They are all typical products of the lower Lazio area

As a plus, a small special oasis was created, the “Logistic Farm” characterized by the presence of donkeys famous for Pet Therapy. Donkey milk has allowed us to produce our cosmetic hand moisturizing cream.

The logistic farm was also created to allow local schoolchildren to go to the site to see not only the functionality of the logistic center but also the attention and respect for animals and the environment.

In our logistics center, some corners are characterized by the presence of rose gardens which bloom in spring giving uniqueness to the pole.
