The SEGRO Logistics Center Venray is a first-class location near Venlo with the possibility to accommodate one or two end users. The distribution center is suitable for large-scale logistics in various industries, including e-commerce, fashion & lifestyle food, electronics, pharmaceuticals and all standard trade goods.

Eelco Ouwerkerk – Head of SEGRO Netherlands: “This development is important for the steady growth of our portfolio in the Netherlands. Furthermore, this development at such a strategic location enables us to take the next steps in the field of future-proofing.”

A future-proof building

Segro combines innovation, proven expertise and intensive customer support in this high-quality and sustainable facility to achieve BREEAM Outstanding certification. The high-quality building design and landscaping make a major contribution to the reduction of CO2 emissions and the energy costs of the end users. The building will also be equipped with innovative applications, including photovoltaic cells, energy storage by means of batteries for optimal use of the sustainably generated energy, LED lighting, underfloor heating and cooling in the warehouse and charging points for electric cars. To facilitate the users, additional investments are made in smart building technology and IoT (Internet of Things) applications.

Ideal infrastructure

SEGRO Logistics Center Venray is further characterized by its excellent multimodal connectivity. It is directly connected to the A73 motorway to Venlo (20 km) and Nijmegen, Maastricht and Aachen and the A67 to Eindhoven, Tilburg, Rotterdam, Antwerp and the entire Ruhr area, providing access to 55 million consumers within a radius of 200 km. The barge terminal in Wanssum is 10 km away and three rail terminals are within 20 km.

A prime location

The city of Venray is a regional center in the northwest of the province of Limburg. The region recognizes the enormous importance of logistics and industrial activity for the economy. The positive attitude of the local authorities and the favorable location along the A73 have resulted in the formation of a well-connected logistics cluster for large-scale logistics in Venray. This development is the last large-scale development at the first-class location De Blakt in Venray.
