HSF e-commerce moves to one of SEGRO's greenest investments in Central Europe

The new building, nearly 50,400 m2 in size, will be completed by the end of 2021 and will fully use 11 ha of land allocated to this park. The transaction was brokered by Profi Home, a professional consulting agency in the real estate industry.

HSF e-commerce is a dynamically developing company with over 10 years of experience. The company specializes in the logistics service of furniture and items with unusual dimensions. In terms of distribution, HSF e-commerce cooperates with leading shipping companies, sending goods to Western Europe. In SEGRO Logistics Park Poznań, Gołuski, the company will provide furniture and interior decoration warehousing services, as well as e-commerce channel services.

The new building, developed by SEGRO for HSF e-commerce, will have 49,000 m2 of modern warehouse space and 1,400 m2 of social and office space. The warehouse will be equipped with 76 docks and 4 "0" type gates. At the customer's request, the facility will have increased fire resistance and a dedicated sprinkler system. Additionally, a separate building has been planned for the facility manager. The developer will provide 30 parking spaces for trucks and 80 parking spaces for passenger cars. It is also planned to equip the park with an access control system that automatically reads license plates, thus ensuring greater safety and traffic flow for employees and regular suppliers.

Ecology is the priority of this project, which is why it is planned to implement a package of solutions reducing energy consumption, such as LED lighting, an efficient heating system and an innovative ventilation system. The roof structure will be adapted to the installation of photovoltaic panels, and the building will undergo BREEAM certification - one of the most frequently used methods of assessing the environmental performance of buildings in Europe - with the planned VERY GOOD assessment. Moreover, for the sake of the employees' comfort, the building's façade will be partially glazed.

- The e-commerce industry has been developing spectacularly in recent years, just like our company. We decided to move to the SEGRO logistics park in Gołuski to increase our business opportunities in line with the growing market needs. In the coming years, we plan to more than double the turnover with deliveries mainly to Germany, and then to Poland.
