Located in the heart of the Paris Terres d'Envol territory, the future logistics platform benefits from a privileged location for urban distribution thanks to exceptional accessibility: in the immediate vicinity of the A86, a few minutes from the A1 and 15 from Paris, it is also served by public transport (RER, metro and tram lines).

"In this rapidly changing territory, the municipality of Drancy is pleased to have been able to offer favorable conditions for the establishment of one of the leaders in pharmaceutical distribution and the distribution of health products and services, the company Alliance Healthcare. On the strength of this success, we also intend to establish an effective collaboration with her and our Employment Mission to encourage the hiring of people from the area”, specifies Aude Lagarde, Mayor of Drancy.

With a total surface area of 14,000 m2, including 1,135 m2 of offices, the logistics platform will be dedicated to the distribution of health products and services to supply pharmacies in the Ile-de-France region of the Alliance Healthcare network. The entire site will be temperature controlled to ensure the integrity of drugs and other pharmaceutical products.

According to Philippe Coatanea, President of Alliance Healthcare Répartition: "the opening of this new regional distribution platform in an area which brings together several health establishments: hospitals, nursing school, medical school... is for us a way of reaffirming our position as a health logistician at the service of Parisian pharmacists and their patients. This new platform is part of a major modernization plan for our logistics network aimed at meeting the needs of our pharmacist customers and continuing to improve the quality of service. We have been present in the Paris region for more than 50 years and are delighted to strengthen our proximity thanks to this new establishment”.

“With the tailor-made construction of this new urban logistics site, SEGRO is very pleased to support Alliance Healthcare in the development of its logistics network. Its exceptional location at the gates of Paris, the requalification of a former industrial site and the dynamics of the territory in which the platform is located confirm SEGRO's know-how and ability to offer strategic sites adapted to the needs of our user customers. », concludes Laurence Giard, Managing Director of SEGRO France.

From an architectural and technical point of view, the building will be built according to the best standards and advances in the field and is aiming for BREEAM “Very Good” certification, from design to completion. As part of the SEGRO group's sustainable development strategy called "Vision 2025", the construction site has benefited from the reuse and recovery of 90% of the materials from the old site, thus allowing the future platform to be part of a circular economy dynamic.

Entrusted to the Salini group, construction started in August 2020, with delivery scheduled for autumn 2021.
