The park purchased from Panattoni Europe was renamed SEGRO Business Park Wrocław. It consists of two buildings with a total of 35,000 m2 of warehouse space and 3,000 m2 of offices. Both facilities are fully leased by nine clients, mainly from the logistics industry. The park is ideally located in the south-west part of Wrocław, near the junction of the A4 and A8 motorways.

- Wrocław is at the forefront of the fastest growing cities in the European Union, it is also a growing star on the warehouse market, with a huge potential to reach both local customers and thanks to its strategic location between Warsaw, Berlin and Prague, with excellent opportunities to reach absorbing markets in other regions Poland and neighboring countries. SEGRO Business Park Wrocław is our next investment in Lower Silesia in the last few months and this purchase does not end with our appetite for development in the region - says Bożena Krawczyk, SEGRO's Investment Director for Central Europe.

- We have long noticed that growing online sales will increase the demand for logistics operators, transhipment platforms and points of sale close to customers. Hence the growing popularity of parks located in cities, which meet the needs of the last mile and logistics within the city. The sale of a park such as Panattoni City Logistics Wrocław I to SEGRO confirms our previous forecasts and shows that city parks are becoming a good investment opportunity, says Robert Dobrzycki, CEO of Panattoni Europe.

- We are pleased that SEGRO has once again trusted us in the implementation of its investment strategy. Congratulations to SEGRO on this purchase, which, in our opinion, is in line with the trends currently driving the Polish warehouse market - the facility is located within the borders of Wrocław, meets the conditions for intra-city logistics solutions and at the same time provides easy access to domestic and foreign markets - adds Magdalena Uler-Kłeczek, Senior Consultant in the Capital Markets Department, JLL.

SEGRO Business Park Wrocław is another, after SEGRO Industrial Park Wrocław 2, purchase of SEGRO in this region. Last year, the company also expanded its portfolio in Biskupice Podgórne, near Wrocław, by a 17 ha plot with the possibility of building another 75,000 m2.
