Winter will not surprise SEGRO
SEGRO, a leading developer, manager and owner of modern warehouse space, focuses on intelligent roofs.
After the test implementation in 2017, the company equipped the second building in SEGRO Logistics Park Warsaw, Nadarzyn with a roof sensor system.
Sensors transmit data to Sense Smart Roofs, a modern platform for remote monitoring of roof surfaces. The solution allows you to control the load on the roof, caused, among others, by residual snow or water, and to monitor any leaks. The system not only improves safety, but also generates savings related to building management, precisely indicating when snow removal is necessary.

The system provided by Sense Monitoring is based on sensors that continuously measure the vertical deflection of the roof. The data is then transferred to the cloud, making it available from the website. When a risk is detected, the program sends an appropriate alert to those responsible for the condition of the building.
