SEGRO is developing 14,000 square meters of commercial space in Frankfurt
Revitalization of 14.5 hectares on former US military site in Rödelheim
SEGRO has started construction of the first 14,000 square meter rental space in its new SEGRO CityPark Frankfurt. In a central location in the Rödelheim district, SEGRO is revitalizing a 14.5-hectare site that was used by the US military until 2008.
The areas are being developed speculatively and will be available for occupation as planned from the fourth quarter of 2019. The up to twelve units can be rented flexibly in sizes of approx. 1,000 to 8,000 square meters and each consist of storage, service and office space. In further construction phases, a multiple of the areas that have now started are to be created in the coming years.
"We are very pleased to be able to offer interested companies the first areas for pre-letting with the start of construction of CityPark Frankfurt," says Janina Kaya, Senior Leasing Manager at SEGRO. "Such central commercial space is an absolute rarity given the lack of space in the coveted Frankfurt market." The commercial park is particularly suitable for the settlement of last-mile companies and medium-sized companies.
With its modern design and construction according to DGNB Gold certification, the business park is integrated into the inner-city area at Eschborner Landstraße 139 in Frankfurt-Rödelheim. Several bus and S-Bahn lines also offer good connections. The A 5 and A 66 motorways can be reached in a short time via the A 648 via the Frankfurt-Rödelheim junction.
