The company, which is a franchise and provides best in class care at home for the elderly has recently expanded into Havering and is based in Hornchurch.

Lisa Kable at Radfield Care Havering & Brentwood said:

“We’re really delighted to have been awarded the prize for New Business of the Year. We’re a franchise and pride ourselves on embodying the family-centric ethos of delivering quality care to elderly people in their own homes with warmth and respect. This award will help us to continue to build our business and deliver the great levels of care to our clients in Havering and Brentwood.”

As sponsors of one of seven awards at the event hosted at the CEME Centre in Rainham, SEGRO was proud to support the local business in the London Borough of Havering – one of the three London boroughs in the East Plus development programme.

The awards, which are organised by London Borough of Havering, recognise the best, most innovative and fastest growing businesses in the area. In addition to the New Business of the year, other award categories this year included Large Business of the Year, Business person of the Year and Apprentice of the Year.

The Awards attracted over 60 entries, with the winners announced at a ceremony on 8 February at CEME Centre, Rainham and was attended by business leaders, entrepreneurs, Havering Council and media representatives.

Neil Impiazzi, SEGRO Partnerships Development Director, said:

“We are proud to once again support Havering Business Awards, which recognise the crucial work SMEs and start-ups play in the local economy.

“Congratulations to Radfield Home Care, which is a successful and growing business that contributes a great deal to the local community. We wish them, and the other winners and entrants, every success in the future.”

SEGRO is partnering with London Borough of Havering to deliver the East Plus regeneration scheme, which includes 86 acres vacant industrial land across Newham, Barking & Dagenham and Havering. The first completed phase of development includes SEGRO Park Rainham, a new industrial park where SEGRO has created an Enterprise Quarter offering 42 small units on flexible lease terms.
