Critical to achieving this vision, is the ability to attract and retain business investment in Slough, and to have the flexibility to provide the best and most suitable space for customers on Slough Trading Estate; all of which are and will be enabled by SPZ status.

The proposed New SPZ Scheme will run for 10 years, from November 2024 to November 2034 and will incorporate a number of changes compared with the current SPZ which are summarised in this section.
