New jobs, industrial and business spaces for Clapham

Following our public events in the summer, our proposals have continued to evolve in discussions with community representatives, residents and planning officers. We have subsequently made some changes to the plans that were submitted to Lambeth Council, which are detailed in our latest community newsletter, here.

Our overall vision for the site however remains the same, and includes:

 

  • 7,855sqm of floorspace, capable of supporting a variety of operators, from local businesses to national and international organisations.

  • 8 high-quality business and industrial spaces, across 3 buildings.

  • A highly sustainable industrial park, maximising renewable energy sources and reducing on-site carbon emissions.

  • Significant public realm improvements across the site, with new greenery and landscaping.

 

  • Around 165 jobs for local people, as well as apprenticeships and employment opportunities through the construction phase of works.

  • A dedicated training and skills programme to support residents and young people.
