Recognisably SEGRO

For over 100 years, SEGRO has developed buildings that make room for extraordinary things; from large-scale logistics hubs for global distribution to urban warehousing solutions. Our properties vary in size, shape and function, but they all share the same SEGRO DNA: a recognisable blend of functionality, architectural quality, sustainability, and a deep awareness of people and place. These are buildings that look good, perform well, and contribute to a more liveable and sustainable environment through conscious design and material choices.

Designed for and with the user

For us, architecture starts with functionality and usability. That’s why we work closely with our customers from the very first stage of the design process. This collaboration ensures that our buildings don’t just meet operational needs today, but also provide space for growth and future development. A building only truly works when it is designed for and with the people who use it.

Architecture in context

Architecture and environment are inseparable. Every SEGRO project is designed with its immediate surroundings in mind. We work closely with architects and local stakeholders to ensure our buildings integrate into the built environment and the surrounding landscape. This leads to conscious decisions about form, style and materials. Always with a strong focus on sustainability and circularity.

Innovation and sustainability

Sustainability is a core part of our design philosophy. We build with a clear focus on reducing our environmental impact. This starts in the design phase, where we aim for BREEAM Excellent certification as standard. We use sustainable materials, implement energy-efficient technologies, and reduce CO₂ emissions throughout the construction process.

We also see real value and future potential in existing buildings. Through renovation – and innovative solutions like smart battery storage – we ensure existing properties can meet the demands of today and tomorrow. In many cases, their lifespan is extended by 20, 30 or even 40 years.

People, place and the future

These are our guiding pillars when it comes to architecture. With this vision, we continue to build a sustainable and successful future. One in which our buildings provide space for limitless potential.
