SEGRO Logistics Park Novara 1

Explore this section

Overview

Novara DC1 is located at the Novara Ovest exit of the Milan - Turin motorway.

The property has an area of 190,000 square meters. one of the largest properties built by Vailog for the Amazon customer.

The building was built in 14 months during the difficult period of the Covid-19 pandemic

An important achievement is the railway station for the 900 workers of the Polo. The railway station built for the Amazon factory in Novara will serve to shorten the distances between the new logistics hub and the city of Novara.

The stop is located on the Novara-Biella section, equipped with a 250-meter-long quay and a 50-meter covered shelter, fenced off for night closure. And it is the first experience in Italy of a direct railway connection at the service of a production logistics area.

In the Polo di Novara we have carried out important urbanization works, including two bridges to directly access the property.

Works were also carried out for the benefit of the municipality of Novara such as parking inside the site, a roundabout and a secondary road to facilitate transit and the cycle path.

There is also a private nature park for public use that allows the local population to access.

In the park there are numerous trees and three water basins designed to attract local fauna.

Two birdwatching stations have been installed near one of the basins.
These are structures that allow you to admire the birds found near the basin.

There are 50 hives for the production of local honey.

In this park we have developed a stable that will accommodate 3 cows, the management is entrusted to the local agricultural institute to allow students to carry out part of their practical lessons.
