SEGRO in the Czech Republic

SEGRO has been developing and managing modern logistics and industrial properties in key European locations for many years. In 2006, the company entered the Czech Republic and began to respond to the demand for modern industrial space in the country. Today, SEGRO actively manages and develops its portfolio, responding to the growing demand from companies seeking strategic logistics and manufacturing locations in the region. We currently own and manage over 218,000 sq m in two industrial parks in the Czech Republic.

The logistics and manufacturing segment in the Czech Republic, particularly in the Prague and Central Bohemia regions, plays an important role in domestic and international supply chains. The proximity of major transit routes, along with transport infrastructure and access to a skilled workforce, mean that the region enjoys stable, long-term demand for modern logistics and warehouse space. SEGRO's presence in the Prague area enables it to serve both the domestic and international markets, supporting customers in the efficient distribution of goods in the Central European region.

Growth of our portfolio

In 2025, SEGRO, in its role as venture adviser to the SEGRO European Logistics Partnership (“SELP”) joint venture, announced that SELP had expanded its portfolio in the Czech Republic with the acquisition of SEGRO Logistics Park Prague, Sázava. The acquisition of the fully let facility increased SEGRO's total property space in the Czech Republic to over 215,000 sq m, representing an increase of nearly 30% in the portfolio.

SEGRO Logistics Park Prague, Sázava consists of four buildings with a total area of 46,500 sq m and is located directly on the D1 motorway, with convenient access to Prague and its ring road. The park has been designed with sustainable development solutions in mind, including infrastructure prepared for photovoltaic installations and electric vehicle charging stations.

Thanks to this investment, SEGRO's customers gain access to modern, fully functional logistics space in a strategic location, enabling them to effectively develop their business and serve the Czech market and Central Europe. You can find out more about this transaction here: segro.com
