Objective: To maintain an outstanding health and safety record by implementing robust management controls and careful auditing procedures.

We take our commitment to health and safety very seriously. In 2008, we provided 106 health and safety training sessions to employees in the UK and Continental Europe. We also sourced a computer-based training programme for use throughout Continental Europe, translating it into eight languages. This will be rolled out to all Continental European employees in 2009.

We work to offer our occupiers and employees a safe and secure business environment. Our customers’ property is now protected by monitored CCTV cameras at more than 50 per cent of our UK properties by area, contributing to a 35 per cent improvement in UK customer satisfaction with security.
