We are proud to say that SEGRO has been repeatedly recognised by its peers as a leader in its field. Awards have included two awards for European Industrial Property Developer Of The Year and an International Property Achievement Award as well as specific awards for individual properties and developments across our portfolio.
2011
In September, the Industrial Agents Society named SEGRO Property Company of the Year and awarded it Deal of the Year, under 50,000 sq ft, for its work with GeoPost at Southall. The Company of the Year award was decided through a vote by members, which makes the award even more significant, and SEGRO was the only company to win two awards.
December saw SEGRO make it 3 years in a row for EG Awards when it was named Property Company of the Year – Industrial & Distribution, against stiff competition from the other short-listed companies; Gazeley, Goodman and Proligis. Previous EG Awards were in 2009: Company of the Year – Industrial & Distribution and 2010: Property Company of the Year.
2010
Double honours at the Estates Gazette Awards, 2010. SEGRO picked up the top award, National Property Company of the Year, with some fulsome comments from the judging panel, including; "The Brixton acquisition was fantastic and the airport deal visionary." and "Magnificent. I have become a great fan. They are the sort of people I would like to deal with." This award was followed by the presentation to Ian Coull of the prestigious Estates Gazette Outstanding Contribution to Property Award at the end of the awards ceremony held on the 22nd November at the Hilton Hotel, Park Lane.
Gold for SEGRO's 2009 Annual Report. SEGRO attained Gold status in the EPRA Annual Reports Awards. The award recognised the Company's high quality of financial reporting and adherence to the EPRA Best Practices Recommendations.
SEGRO named Business of the Year. SEGRO picked up the prestigious title at the 2010 Slough Chamber of Commerce Awards on 25th February in the face of stiff competition from the ever-growing number of international, blue-chip companies based in Slough. The Company was praised for its exemplary levels of client satisfaction, commercial development and green credentials.
2009
SEGRO won 'Deal of the Year Outside Central London' for the 210,000 sq ft pre-let to Fluor. The deal was one of the largest pre-let deals in the south east office market outside London in 2008 and the largest in the Thames Valley since 2001.
SEGRO was named 'Property Company of the Year – Industrial and Distribution' at the Estates Gazette awards ceremony.
"Surround Yourself With…" campaign for the Slough Trading Estate, picked up the award in the category of 'Best Industrial & Distribution Marketing'. This makes it four awards in three years for SEGRO marketing programmes, and three in a row in the Industrial & Distribution category.
SEGRO France was awarded the newly-created and official 'HQE certification' (Haute Qualité Environnementale) for a logistics asset and are only one of 5 other logistic operators in France to receive this certificate.
