The De Hoek area at Schiphol West is a prime location adjacent to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. It combines a mixture of a green field development site and existing buildings.
SEGRO is developing a cluster of new and existing business space. We have developed a new logistic building of 20,000 sq.m and have approx. 35,000 sq.m of existing buildings, partly renovated/redeveloped.
The total development site “Schiphol West” comprises 22.6 hectares of land which will be developed for office and warehouse purposes with a total of circa 141,500 sq.m office and industrial space.
The key feature of the development is flexibility, sustainability and security in a multi modal location. The site will receive a BREEAM certification.
The development site Schiphol West is located at the Rijnlanderweg on the business estate “De Hoek”, predominantly a warehouse/ distribution area. The site is encircled by the motorways A4 and A5, the railway between Hoofddorp and Amsterdam and business park ‘De Hoek’. The track of the ‘Zuidtangent’ divides the plot into two parts. Some notable occupiers of the buildings in the direct vicinity are NEC, MAN, DHL, DSV and World Courier Holland. The development site is located less than two kilometres from motorway A4. It is located six kilometres from the passenger terminals of Schiphol airport. Bus stop Rijnlanderweg lies within minutes walking distance of the subject property. From here, several bus lines provide access to the central train stations of Hoofddorp and Haarlem.
